AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Tayshaun Prince scored 20 points, including the go-ahead free throws with 10.9 seconds remaining, and the Detroit Pistons edged the Milwaukee Bucks 96-94 at The Palace on Sunday night. Greg Monroe had 14 points and 10 rebounds, and Jason Maxiell added 10 points and 10 rebounds for Detroit, which has won four of its past five games. The Pistons (11-22) trailed only once but barely survived Milwaukee's late rally. Monta Elllis scored a game-high 30 points, and Ersan Ilyasova added 24 points for the Bucks, who erased a 13-point deficit in the fourth quarter. Both teams were coming off victories over the Miami Heat. Pistons sixth man Rodney Stuckey missed his second consecutive game with a left ankle sprain. Ellis made two baskets in the final minute of the third quarter, cutting Detroit's lead to 78-71. The Bucks (16-13) couldn't make any headway during the first seven minutes of the fourth, but back-to-back 3-pointers by Ellis and Mike Dunlea...

Pistons blow lead but hold on to beat Bucks

Despite blowing a double digit lead in the fourth the Pistons held on to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks 96-94 Sunday night from The Palace. Perhaps still on a high from Friday night’s victory over the world champion Miami Heat, Detroit had had to rely on two late free throws by Tayshaun Prince to seal the victory, the Pistons’ fourth in the last five games. Closing out games has...

Beating Heat shows how far Bucks have come

MILWAUKEE Earlier this week, Bucks coach Scott Skiles was asked whether his team was respected throughout the NBA. Of course, he said he didn't know how to answer. But if there were any question whether the Milwaukee Bucks are a legitimate playoff team in the Eastern Conference, they answered that query about as emphatically as they could with Saturday's 101-85 statement...

Monta Ellis Compares Himself to Dwyane Wade (Video)

Haha.  This is a short video, but very funny indeed.  Monta Ellis of the Milwaukee Bucks compares himself to Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat.  What I don't get is why he didn't compare himself to Michael Jordan if he's gonna talk crazy?  Might as well go all the way to the top. Check out the funny video below. And yes Monta, 2 championships kind of matters.  Just...

Even with Wade, Bucks are too much for Heat

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Brandon Jennings scored 25 points and Mike Dunleavy had 13 of his 18 in the fourth quarter as the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Miami Heat 104-85 on Saturday night to spoil Dwyane Wade's return. Wade was back after serving a one-game suspension for flailing his leg and making contact with guard Ramon Sessions' groin during the Heat's 105-92 victory over...

Bucks Rally Falls Short Against Detroit

The Milwaukee Bucks rallied from a 14 point third quarter deficit to tie the game with about a minute left. However, a clutch bucket and clutch freethrows from Tayshaun (yes, he’s still in Detroit) Prince clinched the victory for the Pistons, 96-94. The Bucks fall to 16-13 with the loss. Positives: 1) Monta Ellis shot 12/22, had 30 points and 9 assists. But more importantly...

Bucks Run Heat Out the Gym (That’s right!)

Greetings Losers, it’s been awhile since I brought you any Bucks news. I know you’ve been anxiously waiting for an update. Well, I’m back from my holiday pilgrimage to the homeland, and will get you up to speed. Since I last wrote about the Bucks (12/16, ass whooping by Clippers) they have gone 3 and 2, with important victories over Ind, Bos, and Bkn, all teams they will...
