AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- DeMar DeRozan and Rudy Gay scored 21 points apiece and the Toronto Raptors ended a five-game skid with a 99-82 victory over the Detroit Pistons on Friday night. The Raptors led 46-45 at the break and took control by outscoring Detroit 23-5 in the first eight minutes of the third period. Gay, who had just two points at halftime, scored 19 points during the third. Amir Johnson added 20 points and Jonas Valanciunas had 14 points and 13 rebounds. Jonas Jerebko scored 20 points to lead the Pistons, who also got 17 from rookie Andre Drummond in their eighth straight home loss. Drummond, who missed 22 games with a stress fracture in his lower back, made his first career start.
