Found January 06, 2013 on The Majors Detroit:
Just when you thought things were trending upward for the Pistons a big time dose of reality sets it. After essentially leading the entire game the Pistons ended up beating themselves turning the ball over 22 times while scoring just 14 points in the fourth quarter as they fell to the Charlotte Bobcats 108-101 in overtime. Tayshaun Prince’s 21 points led Detroit who shot an amazing .722 out of the gate and leveling off at an even .500 from the field. Greg Monroe had 18 points, 14 rebounds and six assists and Rodney Stuckey also scored 18 points as the Pistons had their four game winning streak snapped by a Bobcats team who has won just their second game in their last 21. Aside from the turnovers and poor shooting fourth, the Pistons defense was a big problem. Despite scoring 60 points in the first half the Pistons held just a one point lead heading into the break as the Bobcats scored 38 points in the second quarter which was a season-high for them coming into tonight’s game.
