It's common knowledge: Stars win in the playoffs. LeBron. Melo. Durant. Chris Paul. Tim Duncan. Dwight Howard. These big names bring ticket sales and (usually) wins where ever they go. Casual fans know them all on sight. But every team has a lesser known player who the fans gravitate to, who's every now and then busts out a move or two that electrifies the crowd, brings 'em to their feet with their hustle or flair, or even win you a game or 2. Here are the guys that I keep an eye on whenever they check in.
Eric Bledsoe, Los Angeles Clippers
8.5 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 3.0 apg
Talk about a change of pace guard. Injuries shelved him for most of March, and Chris Paul missing time earlier this season showed that maybe Bledsoe isn't quite ready for a starting role, but as a reserve, Bledsoe is simply explosive. What he lacks in finesse, he more than makes up for with top notch athleticism and a nonstop motor. consider this: EB is only listed as 6'1" yet ave...
BEST OF MAXIM
Chris Paul is able to break free and catch a short pass at the top of the key from Jamal Crawford. There are just about 7 seconds remaining in the game. Tony Allen, perhaps the best one-on-one defender in the league, is guarding Paul. Paul frees up some space to dribble right and gets a few steps past the free throw line. Paul throws up a floater that cleanly banks in just...
Having Chris Paul on your roster is the difference between winning and losing games like this. CP3 led the Clippers with 24 points and nine assists, and he took over in the final minutes to lead Los Angeles to a 93-91 win in Game 2 over the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday.
Paul got the ball with seven seconds left on the team’s final possession. He was being guarded by the notoriously...
Dwight Howard referred to Lakers head coach, Mike D’Antoni as “Coach Pringles” when he was talking with the assembled media over the weekend before the Game 1 series with the San Antonio Spurs.
“Did ya’ll already talk to Pringles? Coach Pringles.”
D’Antoni is often parodied in memes for his resemblance to Mr. Pringles from the potato chip logo.
The Los Angeles Clippers Chris Paul is an elite point guard in the NBA. He can spot talent and he feels that his understudy Eric Bledsoe is to good to not be starting elsewhere next season.

The Clippers and Grizzlies have a nice little rivalry building. But so far, it’s the Clippers that continue to send a message. Game 2 of the first round of the NBA playoffs took place Monday night at Staples Center. The game went right down to the wire with point guard Chris Paul hitting a last second shot to put the Clippers up 2-0 as the series shifts to Beale st. in Memphis...
With the game tied at 91 and 13 seconds remaining, the Clippers had the ball for a chance on the final possession to take a 2-0 series lead over the Memphis Grizzlies. Everyone knew it was going to Chris Paul, but somehow that never matters. The All-Star point guard always finds a way, and he did again tonight. Chris Paul started his drive from the top of the key with 5 seconds remaining...
The NBA playoffs are underway and we already have been shown what makes the playoffs so great by Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul. Watch below as time winds down and CP3 drives to the basket and makes a great floater to secure game 2 for the Clippers.

If there's one thing we know about San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich, it's that all he cares about is winning, no matter how pretty or ugly he has to do it.
And that includes implementing "Hack-a-Howard."
Popovich will find himself in several spots to utilize this tactic when the Spurs open their first round playoff match-up Sunday against Dwight Howard...
After burying a driving layup to give Los Angeles a 2-0 advantage in their opening playoff series against the Grizzlies, Paul shared an adorable moment with a few youngsters in the crowd.
LOS ANGELES -- Chris Paul's running jumper with a tenth of a second left gave the Los Angeles Clippers a 93-91 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night and a 2-0 lead in their first-round playoff series.
Both teams stayed on the court while the referees reviewed the play. It was declared good, leaving Memphis a tick of the clock to inbound the ball but not enough to...
While the game-winning show by Chris Paul is the biggest highlight out of the Clippers-Grizzlies game 2 match-up, courtesy of Larry Brown Sports we have one of the more funny highlights out of the game.
Watch below as guard Tony Allen is nursing an injury on the ground and referee David Guthrie trips over him as he is backing up. Try not to laugh.

The Clippers and the Grizzlies have a violent recent history. They don't like each other much and last years playoffs were a perfect indication we are going to enjoy some of that same bad blood this year. All the Lob-City crap will be put on hold. Well maybe not on hold but this will not be a run and gun shoot out. High flying high jinx will...
TREAD STILL ON THE TIRES
Despite dealing with “some soreness and some pain" recently, Lakers point guard Steve Nash says that he is "not even close" to beginning to contemplate retirement.
Like another Texas-based professional sports team the proverbial 'window' is closing on the San Antonio Spurs and they know it. Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili are not exactly spring chickens anymore, and know that there chance to win it all has to come now and not later.
On Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers taking the next step towards getting back to the Finals was...
