via Spurs Nation: Not only is Tony Parker entirely deserving of his fifth All-Star selection, he’s been the best point guard in the NBA this season. That is the considered, and highly subjective, opinion of Spurs coach Gregg Popovich, who asserted — if not specifically, then generally — that not even Clippers star Chris Paul can match Parker’s play. “I think he’s played probably better than any point guard in the league if you want to be totally frank about the whole deal,” Popovich said  Tuesday. “It’s hard to pick somebody who’s had a better year than he’s had at that position, leading his team to this point in the season.”
