The Portland Trailblazers have now lost 12 straight games and while they once had slim hopes at the playoffs, they simply fell off a cliff in the final month. All Star LaMarcus Aldridge, Wes Matthews and Nicolas Batum have all missed games during the losing streak, which has been a factor, but they have simply played poor basketball. Despite the losses, there have been some positives that have come from the losing streak. Of course, Rookie of the Year favorite, Damian Lillard has been brilliant as usual, but their two other draft picks have stepped up their play big time. Over the last 10 games, 11th overall pick, center Meyers Leonard, has received 28.5 minutes per game and has averaged 9.7 points and 5.1 rebounds. Although he is still quite raw, he has showed some of his immense potential.
