On Monday night there were two LA teams holding big 3-1 leads going into Game 5. The Clippers had come off beating the Grizzlies 3 times in extremely close fashion, one of them being a 27 point comeback in the second half. Chris Paul looked like that closer he was in New Orleans just with a better supporting cast. The Clippers were officially no longer cursed and were headed to a second round matchup with Tim Duncan’s San Antonio Spurs.

The LA Lakers were in a similar place except, they were heading back home and Bynum decided to state that close out games were easy (looking at his aggressiveness and the way he played, he thinks it’s easy). Kobe Bryant almost put the Lakers on his back for a comeback win in game 5 and they got completely trampled in game 6.
