Found November 10, 2012 on NBA 24/7 365:
Danny Green makes a lot of money.  According to ESPN, the Spurs will pay their starting shooting guard $3.5 million this season, mostly to make three-point baskets.  A pretty sweet gig indeed, but that doesn’t mean it comes completely free of drawbacks.  For example, in Friday’s game against the Kings, Green found himself the last line of defense between a charging DeMarcus Cousins and San Antonio’s basket.  At that moment, it essentially became part of his job description to jump in front of a speeding truck. Danny Green, Employee of the Month. The most honorable of mentions to Toko Shengelia, Brandan Wright, and especially Trevor Booker, who probably threw down the hardest dunk of the season thus far.  For safety’s sake, I hope the Wizards have called in a maintenance crew to inspect the integrity of that basket.  There’s no way Booker didn’t loosen a few screws. DeMarcus Cousins continues to be a knucklehead; Should the Celtics make a play for him?

Stop thinking and just do what I say DeMarcus Cousins was suspended again yesterday. This time for 2 games for his attack on Spurs announcer Sean Elliott, based on Elliott's mild criticism of him on the air. Reporters wondered why he got such a serious penalty for going after an announcer, but it's obvious to me. It's called being a repeat offender. Try getting caught...

Spurs focused on improving defense

Back when the San Antonio Spurs were winning championships, they were anchored by an incredible defense that could shut teams down night after night. That’s when the Spurs got branded as “boring” because their scores would be in the 80’s. But that’s all they needed. It worked and they won. In recent years, it’s been a different story. The Spurs can put up points in...
