Starting Lineup PG Steve Nash SG Jared Dudley SF Grant Hill PF Channing Frye C Marcin Gortat Key Reserves: Robin Lopez, Shannon Brown, Ronnie Price The Phoenix Suns come into town tonight in what seems like a winnable game for the Knicks, but after dropping three straight nothing will come easy for the Knicks.  It does help knowing the Suns are on a five game slide.  However, both teams should come into tonight’s game desperate for win.  The hungrier team will be the victor and for the Knicks fans sake, it better be the home team. Frontcourt: The Phoenix Suns had Amar’e Stoudemire in their starting lineup just a few years back, but now Stoudemire is in New York trying to get back to the Conference Finals. However, the Suns still have a capable front line that can outplay the Knicks’ big men. Marcin Gortat is able to score 20 points and grab ten rebounds, so Stoudemire must make sure he takes Gortat seriously enough in this game. Backcourt: Running the back-court for the ...

GM poll paints bleak picture of Suns

In results of the NBA's annual general managers survey released Tuesday, it wasn't hard to see that Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash is still regarded around the league as one of the sport's best and brightest. At nearly 38 years old, Nash retained his title among the executives as the player with the league's best basketball IQ, while also placing second in voting...

Steve Nash to New York is just six months away

Steve Nash and the New York Knicks might be after each other this summer, when Nash becomes a free agent. And they'll probably agree to a deal with each other. I might as well write the post about it right now. You know how you have that one friend that just seems destined for things? Not great things, but … "things?" That they'll follow up a long weekend full...

Steve Nash Defends Mike D’Antoni

As the New York Knicks’ slide in the standings continues, head coach Mike D’Antoni’s seat only becomes hotter. But according to Steve Nash, who the Knicks are rumored to be chasing next summer, it’s not all his former coach’s fault that the Knicks are awful. Per ZagsBlog: “The Knicks (6-8) have dropped four straight, with their latest loss coming...

Is Steve Nash the Best Passing Point Guard in The NBA?

Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo will most likely be out for Friday night's matchup against the Phoenix Suns. Rondo hurt his right wrist while driving to the hoop for a layup in Wednesday night's matchup against the Toronto Raptors. He was able to stay on the floor for his two foul shots, but was taken out for the rest of the game. Rondo is second on the team with 15...

Steve Nash had 26 points and 11 assists, Shannon Brown hit a crucial 3-pointer that was as ugly as this game, and the Phoenix Suns snapped a five-game losing streak with a 91-88 victory over the New York Knicks on Wednesday night. New York Knicks Drop Close Game Against Phoenix, 91-88

The New York Knicks are having an up and down season to say the least. Wednesday night, the Knicks took on the Phoenix Suns at home as head coach Mike D’Antoni and forward Amare Stoudemire both welcomed Steve Nash on the floor before the game. The Knicks should have taken the game more seriously as they fell 91-88 against the Suns. Good Amare Stoudemire had a pretty good game...

After loss, D’Antoni says Knicks in ‘crisis’

The only solace to another horrific Garden evening is maybe Steve Nash will be doing this for the Knicks next season and not against them. Sore-wristed Carmelo Anthony could not have been more awful and Amar’e Stoudemire wasn’t much better. Anthony did not speak afterward. A team official...

Suns-Celtics Preview

The Boston Celtics and Phoenix Suns each ended a five-game losing streak in their last contest. One of these aging teams is guaranteed to make it two in a row Friday night when the NBA's assist leaders meet as Rajon Rondo and the Celtics host Steve Nash and the Suns. These perennial contenders have fallen on hard times, enduring uncharacteristically long skids heading into...
