Found November 28, 2012 on Orlando Magic Daily:
Tonight, the Magic take on the Spurs who are very much the forerunners and the model of what the Magic are trying to do in the post-Dwight Howard reality. These two teams right now are on opposite ends of the spectrum as far as championship expectations. The Magic though showed Sunday that you have to play the games and anything can happen. Orlando will certainly feel like it can get the win tonight at Amway Center. With that in mind, we reached out to our good friends at Project Spurs and exchanged some questions previewing tonight's game. In this preview, I ask Jose Grijalva of Project Spurs about how San Antonio has been able to sustain things, Tim Duncan's Renaissance and which Magic player fits the Spurs culture most. You can read my answers to Project Spurs' questions over at Project Spurs. Philip Rossman-Reich, Orlando Magic Daily: Tim Duncan has seemingly found the fountain of youth in the early part of this season and is playing some of his best bask...

Dwight Howard clowns Kobe Bryant on team plane (VIDEO)

New team, same old Dwight Howard. After starting the 2012 NBA season at 1-4, the Los Angeles Lakers have bounced back nicely as they currently stand with a record of 7-7 in the Western Conference. During a recent team flight, Howard somehow gained control of the in-board intercom and decided to have some at the expense of some of his teammates. The major target of his rant was Kobe...

Video: Duncan reaches another milestone, embarrasses Bargnani along the way

It's been fitting for Tim Duncan to be reaching milestones at the end of his career. He's become the San Antonio Spurs all time points leader and broke the NBA's record for all time playoff blocks. So it was fitting for Duncan to reach another milestone: 2,500 career blocks. This block wasn't just an ordinary block though. It was more of a “I hope no one has...

Duncan takes home weekly NBA accolade

That 36-year-old San Antonio Spurs forward everyone said would be over the hill by now is looking as spry as ever and having yet another great season. Like wine, apparently Tim Duncan gets better with age as well, and that couldn't be more apparent than with the NBA's announcement that Duncan has been named the Western Conference Player of the Week. It's also...

With that said, Dwight Howard is listed...

A Hockey Guy In A Lion Costume Is Better At Basketball Than Dwight Howard

In the style of our non-stop KIDS BEATING THE MIAMI HEAT AT BASKETBALL coverage comes this clip of Bailey, lion mascot for the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings, out-shooting Dwight Howard, a guy who gets paid to win at basketball. This contest of skills was made possible by the NHL lockout, which has given the league’s mascots a lot of free time, and the Los Angeles Lakers, who are currently...

David Stern is quite ticked off at the Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs are a very good basketball team. They also happen to quite long in the tooth for NBA standards. Contain Parker To Beat Spurs?

For many years, there was one name the opponents of the San Antonio Spurs had to worry about: Tim Duncan. He used to be the main focus of the opposing defense every possession. Now with Duncan being older, he's not the weapon the rest of the NBA should solely about on the team and Jacque Vaughn knows it.
