Quadrophenia: Perk's recent thigh troubles has the Beast Lair spinning in circles

Go tell it on the banks of the Mystic, shout it from the concrete canyons of Boylston Street, and whisper it quietly in Bates Hall at the Boston Public Library. I'm officially concerned. The recent troubles with our big men gives me great pause about the possibilities of a magical run for our local five, who for the past three games have been exposed a little bit. We've seen quite clearly that the trilogy of Pierce, Garnett, and Allen just aren't the same when they're kicking the ball out to a Scalabrine or a Posey on the three point line. Nope, in order for these guys to truly dominate they need a guy down low to dump it down to for the open layup or thunderous slam. And they also need a guy who's gonna be able to back up Garnett on the post so that he's not getting banged around for 48 minutes a game.
