Spike Lee was on hand to witness the Knicks blow a lead to the Mavericks and then lose in overtime Sunday evening.
I post this picture mostly so I can mention that I took a class at SUNY Cortland called "The Films of Spike Lee." It was a two-week winter session class that was four hours long, five days a week for those two weeks. We watched movies, then talked about them, then wrote papers about them. It was one of my favorite classes and where I saw Do the Right Thing, Malcolm X, 25th Hour, School Daze, She's Gotta Have It, 4 Little Girls, Jungle Fever, Mo' Better Blues, and Get on the Bus for the first time. I had already seen He Got Game and Summer of Sam, and have since seen Inside Man and also read Spike Lee's Do the Right Thing and Spike Lee: That's My Story and I'm Sticking To It.
That's a lot of Spike Lee.Check out more from Tony Arnoldine at http://tonyblogs.net
