Jackie Mac thinks Ray Allen’s gone after this season
I’m not sure whether Jackie MacMullan has sources or whether this is just her opinion, but she believes Ray Allen is gone after this season. (ESPN Boston)“I really do think Ray [Allen] will move on,” she said. “I think he’ll have some great opportunities to do so, I think he’s got some years left in him, and I think he’s a great sniper for a championship team —...
The true story behind the Ray Allen injury scare, in his own words
As Ray Allen dissolved to the LA Clippers version of the Staples Center hardwood on Monday night, I feared the worse. Taking into consideration, the time change AND the fact that Ray looked to be injured on a no-contact play, as ESPN described it. All early facts seem to point towards an injured Achilles tendon. [...]
Ray Allen still desired by several teams at NBA trade deadline
As Woj reports, the Celtics are listening to offers. And if they get one Danny Ainge feels comfortable signing off on, they’re going to take it. Nobody is safe from Ainge’s maneuvers, but the key is whether he finds a suitable trade. He knows that standing pat is good for the future too. Here’s what Doc Rivers had to say about the Celtics’ objectives as the NBA trade deadline...
Has Ray Allen been traded?
Twitter is exploding with news that the 3 Point King has been traded. We'll keep you posted. If you hear anything, please post a link in the comments section.
In other NBA news the Nets just acquired Gerald Wallace for a 1st rounder.
The Lakers have just traded for Ramon Sessions. Big move for the Lakers. Sessions is so much better than the corpse of Derek Fisher it's not even funny.
Report: Celtics offered Pierce to Portland
Color me skeptical... but's out there.
While Boston Celtics boss Danny Ainge has said Rajon Rondo will not be traded, he is still actively seeking offers for members of the Big Three. The Celtics offered Paul Pierce to Portland -- I'm not sure what they asked for in return -- but the Blazers were not interested because of the two years and $32 million remaining...

After all the rumors that constantly swirled around Celtics Nation over the past few months, the Boston Celtics were unable to pull of any sort of deal before Thursday’s NBA trade deadline. Ray Allen’s name was mentioned, team’s were interested in Paul Pierce but not interested enough to give up what the Celtics wanted in [...]
Celtics fell asleep in Sacramento, lose to Kings 120-95
This game was a case of looking ahead. The Celtics were focused on the Denver Nuggets tomorrow night instead of the opponent tonight, the Sacramento Kings. Marcus Thornton and Co. capitalized on this with a big win over the Celtics, 120-95.
The first quarter belonged to the Kings. Sacramento started off with energy and determination, which caught the Celtics by surprise. ...
Celtics Live Blog: Paul Pierce, Rajon Rondo in Take on Warriors, Look for Two Straight Wins
9:30 a.m. ET: Celtics fans are in for another late night as their team travels to Oakland, Calif., on Wednesday to take on the Golden State Warriors. Kevin Garnett is no doubt looking forward to this game, because for the first time in three games he won't have an All-Star big man to contain. Celtics Live Blog: With Big Four Still Intact, C's Look to Continue Road Success in Sacramento
8 a.m. ET: Rajon Rondo will be walking through that door for the Celtics in Sacramento on Friday. Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen will, too. Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge chose not to break up Boston's core four at the NBA trade deadline. The Celtics will operate the rest of the season with more or less the same group that will take on the Kings...

Recap: C's hold on to beat Warriors
AP Photo
Ok, so I was a little off about how this game would go. At least I got the part about the win right. The Celtics played some pretty terrible basketball for a good portion of this game, but they got the 105-103 win.
KG was the hero tonight. 24 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the Big Ticket, who canned a long jumper with 5 seconds left to give the C'...
