The Boston Celtics (20-18) must feel a bit reluctant to snag two starting spots as they sit five games out of the top spot in the Atlantic Division.
Rondo, who earns his fourth All-Star appearance, has been quietly holding his own his Doc Rivers’ team in the 2012-13 season posting 13.0 points, 11.2 assists (league leading), and 5.1 rebounds in 33 games. Recently, the 26-year-old recorded his 26th career triple-double.
Garnett, on other hand, grants his 15th All-Star game in 17 years. His presence on the Boston Celtics has showed in various ways, leadership and production. In the 2012-13 season, KG has averaged 14.6 points and 7.0 rebounds in 38 contests...

Joakim Noah and Kevin Garnett have a history against each other, and Noah had a funny response when asked about KG's trash talk.
It was just announced that Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett were voted in by the fans to start in the 2012-13 NBA All-Star game. Rondo and Kevin Garnett led the fan voting for a while, so this comes at no surprise. This is Garnett's 15th all-star game, and Rondo's 4th. Whether or not they deserve it is up to your discretion. They will be starting next to Dwyane Wade, Lebron...
The Knicks flew back yesterday morning from England — with a band of players Carmelo Anthony believes is the best he ever has been a part of…. “By far,’’ Anthony said Thursday night in London when asked whether this is his strongest team. “I have been on good teams before. But as far as being a complete team from top to bottom, this is the best team I’ve been a part...
Carmelo Anthony and wife LaLa dismiss reports that their marriage is on the rocks as the two step out for dinner in London on Wednesday evening:
As a member of one of the league’s most fashion-forward teams, keeping up off-court appearances is key for Carmelo Anthony. When he’s not making the fashion rounds in New York City, he’s showcasing his style sense abroad, catching runway shows in London, Paris and Milan.
British GQ caught up with the Knicks forward before his team squared off against the Detroit Pistons at...
The Knicks are currently in London facing off against the Detroit Pistons at the famed O2 arena. Of course several significant others and wives made the trip across the pond. Alexis Stoudemire, Porschla Kidd and others were spotted around the city. It also marked the first time we’ve seen Carmelo Anthony and his wife Lala since Honey Nut Cheerios became the go to description for...
Would be funnier if it was the real Carmelo Anthony, but it's pretty wild nonetheless. If you don't speak Twitter, basically a Knicks fan by the name of Matthew Shin, aka @Melo4MVP, put out a tweet saying if if Knicks fans retweeted it 2000 times he'd smack Jeff Green in the face at the next Celtics/Knicks game. Jeff Green responded (as he often does to people who say...
The New York Knicks are currently in London where they are taking on the Detroit Pistons at the O2 arena for a regular season match-up, and welcome back Iman Shumpert as I just watched him score his first basket as I’m writing this post. Prior to the game day British GQ had a chance to chat with Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony, assembling a superb interview as Melo talked on his...
As we approach the halfway point of the NBA season and the looming trade deadline grows closer, the New York Knicks are 25-13. We’ll see if a move is made, but New York doesn’t need shooting, veteran leadership, youth, or athletic ability. The Knicks need TOUGHNESS! Of those 13 losses, 7 of them have been against teams who simply beat the Knicks up for 4 quarters and were very...
The fellas did a couple of shows over the past couple of weeks… spanning back to the Kevin Garnett vs. Melo Cheerios thing…
Kurt and Dave also spent some time discussing how they would feel about Paul Pierce being traded. They also got into their usual predictions and such, as well as bringing back the Green Kool-Aid King for a week.
This will be a great time to mention that...
Congratulations to Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett for being voted in by the fans as starters. Between KG and Melo in the frontcourt and Dwyane Wade and Rondo in the back court, this may be one...
Here we are, winners of 6 out of our last 10 games and trying to right our ship, lets see what the writers from Celticslife think in our newest addiction of 5 on 5:
1. The Celtics have been playing really well lately (other then that stinker the other night). What has been the difference?
Terry P: Jeff Green. Now look, I have been hard on him PLENTY and still want to trade his...
Carmelo Anthony has shown, yet again, just how much of a "tough guy" he really is.
In a recent article on ESPN New York, Carmelo Anthony said he had no problem with Knicks owner James Dolan recording conversations 'Melo had with players on the court to see if the trash talk crossed the line.
I got an owner that looks out for me. You can't beat that for an owner...
