Rajon Rondo had six points, three rebounds and 10 assists before leaving Wednesday's game with a sprained right ankle.

Nets. Watch the Rotoworld News Page for updates on his status between

This is what most Celtics fans were worried about when we didn't sign a back-up point guard. It's just coming a bit earlier in the season than we would have liked. Hopefully Rondo will be OK, but if he can't play Thursday, we will get a better chance to see how Jason Terry and Leandro Barbosa do with handling the ball. Paul Pierce ...

Rajon Rondo's been given an assist they missed in Milwaukee. That makes 11 for the game and thus a new NBA record 28 straight games of 11+.

Sean Grande has tweeted that they found a previously unreported assist for Rondo in the game against the Bucks. He was previously recorded as having 10 assists in the game and that left...
Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.
“He works hard at his craft,” Pierce said. “It’s developing nicely over the years. I feel that with me, Kevin (Garnett) being around here, I’ve been a part of that. It’s beautiful to watch him finally...

Rondo's ankle isn't serious, but they are going to be very cautious with him because he is so important to the team. No need to push him and risk further injury this early in the season.
The Celtics lost last night in Brooklyn without Rondo. I think, because of that, they
get an exception and the loss is okay. I expected them to win but let's be honest, Celtics fans were spoiled with those two road wins that could've easily been two losses. Tomorrow, at 12:30 pm ET, the Celtics will host the Toronto Raptors. Here are five things that the Celtics must do...

Only 5 games into the season it is way to early to panic about this team or jump off the bandwagon. I said this at the beginning of the season we need to wait about 20 games to really judge this team and make a judgement to weather this team is going to make a title run. The good with this Celtics team in the first 2 weeks has to start at the top with the play of PG Rajon Rondo....

The Toronto Raptors have been forced to adapt without their starting point guard, who is expected to remain out for at least another week or two.
The Boston Celtics hope they don't have to wait that long for the NBA assist leader to return.
Rajon Rondo's status is uncertain for Saturday, when the Celtics look for a ninth consecutive home victory over Toronto.
In the Celtics first game in the brand new Barclays Arena, some basketball was being played through the music being blared through the loud speakers. The Celtics were without Rajon Rondo after his ankle sprain last night, with Leandro Barbosa starting in his place. With the game tied 87, Brooklyn pulled away and despite the Celtics best efforts (including a dicey foul on D-Will...
Did you hear that collective sigh of relief? That was Celtic nation. Jeff Green has all the tools and capabilities to do good and even great things. This dunk was just straight up dirty by Green. I think Al Jefferson may have filed a restraining order after it. It was nice to finally see a mean side of Jeff Green. Earlier during the week we heard he was too soft and nice...
After every game, we’ll take stock of how each individual performance affects the player’s overall value.
Offense: 20 points on a very efficient 10-16 shooting. He hit 5 of 6 shots at the rim, and 5 of 8 from everywhere else inside the 3-point line. A few of his turnovers were sloppy, but a few of his passes were spectacular.
Defense: He played the passing lanes...
