Raptors Deal Belinelli to Hornets for Julian Wright.

The Toronto Raptors announced Wednesday that they have traded guard Marco Belinelli to the New Orleans Hornets for forward Julian Wright. Belinelli, a 6-foot-5 three-year guard from Bologna, Italy, averaged 7.1 points per game last season, playing 17 minutes per game after coming over last season from Golden State. Wright is a 6′8”  225 lbs forward who was selected by the Hornets in the first round, 13th overall in the 2007 NBA Draft after helping lead Kansas to a NCAA title.  Wright has career averages of 4 points and 2.3 rebounds playing just shy of 13 minutes per game. Wright was named Illinois Mr.Basketball in 2005 before going to play with the Jayhawks at Kansas.
