TEAMS: Sacramento Kings, Toronto Raptors
The Toronto Raptors lost 98-91 at home to the Sacramento Kings. The Raps drop to 4-7 with the loss. This was the final game of their back to back to back stretch, and the Raps will get a much needed day off before the Pacers come to town on Friday.
Linas Kleiza finally made his return to the line-up after being out with a knee fracture since January 21st. Kleiza averaged 11.2 points per game last year and should be a nice scoring boost for a team that has lacked options.
Andrea Bargnani left this one with a calf strain, and is considered day to day. He should be good to go for Friday but nothing is certain yet.
The wear and tear definitely cost the Raps this one, as they looked dead out there at times. With the intensity that the Raps have played with this season defensively, the team seems to get worn out on back to backs, and doesn’t perform well.
