Rasheed
Rasheed Wallace might only play 14 minutes a game for the Knicks this year, but he makes those minutes count.  Sheed fouled rookie Austin Rivers of the New Orleans Hornets during the Knicks win last night and gave the rookie a little hazing of his own.  After Rivers missed his first free throw Rasheed yelled "BALL DON"T LIE, BALL DON'T LIE" at Rivers at the top of his lungs.  Check out the video of the rookie hazing below. Rasheed Wallace yells ‘Ball don’t lie!’ after Austin Rivers misses free throw (Video)

Apparently Rasheed Wallace decided to come out of retirement to join the New York Knicks for two reasons — to win a championship and to scream at people who miss free throws. The 2012-2013 season is only a few weeks old, but we can already say heckling opponents after missed free throws is Wallace’s thing. As you can see from the video above that @Jose3030 shared with us on Tuesday...

Earlier today, Knicks' Coach Mike Woodson wouldn't discuss how he plans on re-acclimating Amar'e Stoudemire back into the lineup when he returns from injury next month. Will he be a starter? With New York off to such a strong start, the team needs to be careful not to rock the boat. Whose minutes would Stoudemire potentially take away?Of course, with his return nearly...

Amar'e Stoudemire may not start for Knicks after return

New York Knicks coach Mike Woodson was asked Tuesday during the team's morning shootaround if Amar'e Stoudemire will return as starting power forward.  He wouldn't really say. “I’m going to address that when we get to that point,’’ Woodson said at New Orleans Arena via The New York Post. “Right now I’m just taking it a day at a time and work the guys we...

Kidd impacting new team on, off the court

DALLAS When the New York Knicks signed Jason Kidd to a free-agent contract over the summer, not only did Knicks coaches and brass know they were getting one of the greatest floor generals in the history of the NBA, but they knew they were receiving a player who would have a very positive impact off the court, namely in the locker room. Joining the Knicks after spending the past...

Kidd, Chandler return to Dallas with the Knicks

DALLAS - It is impossible to have pulled up a chair for Wednesday's Thanksgiving Eve meeting between the Mavs and the visiting Knicks and not experience some melancholia. With Tyson Chandler and Jason Kidd flanking a superstar forward, the New York Knicks represent for...

Lakers avoid a close call during Mike D’Antoni’s debut

NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- Top overall draft choice Anthony Davis has been scratched from New Orleans' lineup against New York on Tuesday night because of a flare-up of his left ankle injury that first occurred Friday night. New Orleans Hornets Buy Out Matt Carroll's Contract

Matt Carroll was the returning piece in a deal that sent Hakim Warrick to the Charlotte Bobcats.  When the trade was made, it was quite obvious that the New Orleans Hornets were just dumping salary.  It seemed they had no intention of keeping Carroll on long-term, and they didn't.  Yesterday, the team cut ties and bought out Carroll's contract. According to Jimmy Smith...
