At 38, he he's focused on the present. "I know the way my body feels. It's really how much I decide to push myself and continue to push myself and put myself in unique situations and figure out how my body can overcome challenges, getting older and recovering," he said. "I just know being out here and doing this is a great challenge every day, getting your body together and getting it to a place I've never seen it. "You get to the summer and I see how I feel and take it from there." The Heat will play Allen's previous team, the Boston Celtics, on Saturday night at AmericanAirlines Are...

Carlos Boozer, Tyson Chandler, Dwight Howard, Dirk Nowitzki, Brook Lopez, Carmelo...

Miami, like every team playing on Christmas in 2013, will wear sleeved jerseys that have team logos on the front, in place of numbers, which will instead be on the left sleeve. Heat's Dwyane Wade more comfortable in supportive role

For a moment, it felt like old times for Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade. After each made basket, he thought back to when he was the No. 1 scoring option. And just when it started getting good, Wade realized those days are gone. Wade scored a season-high 29 points in Thursday's victory against the Los Angeles Clippers, but knows moments as such are a rarity because of the Heat...

Heat Check: Miami drops thriller late to Boston

LeBron Gives Update On Back

The Miami Heat took a pretty brutal L tonight against an vastly inferior Boston Celtics team on Saturday night. But more important than the result of the early regular season game was the play of LeBron James in it, who admitted after Tuesday night's game against the Clippers that he's been dealing with back issues. The Celtics game being his first since that...

At this stage, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett have made like the last Japanese soldiers on Iwo Jima, refusing to give up the war. That’s how the two former Celtics continue to regard their former teammate and current Heat guard, Ray Allen. “They haven’t spoken to me,” Allen said before last night’s game against what remained of his former team.
