Found November 10, 2012 on Red's Army:
The 1st half of tonight’s game subjected Celtics fans to more of the same: turnovers (10) opponents points in the paint (20+) and poor defense. Samuel Dalembert had taken 6 shots all season coming into tonight, yet found himself with 3 dunks alone in the first quarter. It was the same bad rotation/poor pick and roll defense we’ve seen thus far from Boston. 20 of  the Bucks’ first 22 points came in the paint, and the C’s were fortunate to only be down 22-20 after 1 quarter. Things then went from bad to worse in the 2nd. The Celtics offense looked completely lost-they had only one made field goal in the first 7 minutes of the quarter. Turnovers started to add up (10 in the 1st half) and it looked like the Bucks were about to open things up. But thankfully with about 3 minutes left in the 2nd, the C’s went on a 9-2 run, and were lucky to go into halftime only down by three: 42-39. Celts shot 35% from the field in the 1st half, and both teams combined for a horrid 2 of 14 from downtown....

Jeff Green Is Not a Good Basketball Player

Jeff Green Cannot Play, And It Has Crippled the Boston Celtics   Remember that vaunted Boston Celtics bench? The one that was going to carry the Celts at the very least back to the Eastern Conference Finals, with a chance to bring home Banner 18? The Celtics bench had the quintessential microwave in Jason Terry.  [...]

Bass and Terry will start tonight

Sean Grande, aka the radio voice of the Boston Celtics, just tweeted this breaking news: Here it is: Jason Terry and Brandon Bass move into the starting lineup for the Celtics tonight, replacing Courtney Lee and Jared Sullinger. — Sean Grande (@SeanGrandePBP) November 11, 2012   I like it. Bucks bench best of the bunch early on

MILWAUKEE --Just how good has the bench been for the Milwaukee Bucks? Take it as you may, but there are a few stats that say it has been the best in the NBA. The first stat, which is even listed on the league's website but isn't always the greatest measurement of success, is called efficiency and is measured by subtracting field goals missed, free throws missed and turnovers...

Rajon Rondo says he can beat LeBron James in a race

Okay. There is quite a bit more to this story but I love when Rajon Rondo talks trash, especially agains The Boston Celtics point guard sat down with Mut and Merloni of WEEI and discussed a variety of topics. Rondo talked about the Celtics slow start and the new guys getting acclimated. Rondo also discusses his [...]

Why doesn't the NBA credit assists on made free throws?

Rondo got robbed of an assist when Garnett got hit. Rajon Rondo's spectacular streak of 30 games with 10+ assists has led me to keep a very close eye on his ball distribution of late.  As he continues to climb his way up the charts towards the all-time record, I watch each game intently keeping track of his assist count. While at the Garden last Wednesday I noticed three...

What if the NBA credited assists on made free throws?

As a die hard fan and Boston Celtics season ticket holder, I’m very interested in Rajon Rondo’s streak of consecutive games with 10 or more assists, which now stands at 29 (tied for 3rd longest in NBA history).  While sitting in the Garden Wednesday night and paying very close attention to Rondo’s assist count, I had an epiphany of sorts. There were at least 3 or 4 plays...

Comments from the Other Side - Sixers 11/19

Another game, more complaints about the refs. Since every single fan base complains about calls, including the Celtics, I can only conclude that the refs are terrible all the way around. Sixers lead the Celtics 57-45 at the Half Behind 14 & 7 for Turner

The Celtics trail the 76ers at the half 57-45 as the Sixers perimeter players combined for 34 points with 8 assists for Jrue Holiday.
