Don’t look now but the Bulldogs have lost three straight and four of their last five. Those are all Horizon League conference games they have lost with their record currently at 14-9. Baylor (14-7) who we did beat is tanking as well losing four of their last six. All that adds up to Florida State’s RPI dropping to 58 per Real Time RPI. That is danger territory in terms of the ‘Noles making the NCAA. Winning in Chapel Hill would be a real plus in bolstering Florida State’s chances. At the very least it needs to be a competitive game. That is not an easy task. UNC racked up 106 against BC on the road and trounced both NC State and BC in back to back games. FSU beat UNC 77-67 in Chapel Hill last season. This season’s Tar Heel roster is much different with John Henson as the only returning starter from that game.
