According to Jeff Goodman of ESPN, free agent center, Greg Oden, has agreed to a 2-year minimum deal with the Miami Heat – including a player option for the second year.
2007′s No. 1 overall draft pick last played in the NBA in 2009-10 for the Portland Trail Blazers where he averaged 11.1 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.3 blocks in 21 games. His NBA career stalled in 2010 when the Blazers announced Oden would undergo season-ending microfracture surgery on his left knee – the third time his season had been cut short due to knee issues. The 25-year-old center played in just 82 games from the time he was drafted in 2007 until the team waived him in 2012.
