Cleveland Cavaliers rookie point guard Kyrie Irving reportedly did not travel with the team to Milwaukee where they will play the Bucks for the second time in the last week. John Telich of Cleveland’s Fox 8 reports that  Irving was examined at the Cleveland Clinic on Wednesday and could miss significant playing time, later tweeting that it could be up to 10 days. Injuring his shoulder against the Bucks this past Friday, Irving missed the following game but suited up in the team’s recent loss to the San Antonio Spurs. The injury is said to potentially be a bone bruise which would require time to heal. With the recent surgery undergone by Daniel Gibson and the trade of Ramon Sessions to the Los Angeles Lakers, Irving’s absence provides the Cavaliers with a backcourt which consists of two recent NBDL call-ups Donald Sloan and Lester Hudson. In 46 games this season, Irving has averaged 18.8 points and 5.7 assists per game. The Cavaliers have yet to confirm this report. [Related: Elias: Cavs Set New Record for Futility]
