Report: Marvin Williams Set to Sign 5-Year, $37.5 Million Deal

Marvin Williams is a free agent no longer. The Bremerton native will sign a five-year, $37.5 million deal with the Atlanta Hawks today, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. The deal, with incentives, could be worth $43 million. “I knew from past years with Josh (Smith) and Josh (Childress) that this process could take some time,” Williams told the AJC. “But I was patient. I tried to be patient. And thankfully, things worked out.”
