As previously prior to Sunday’s game against LeBron James and the Miami Heat, the elite point guard received word that he tore his ACL and will be out for the rest of the 2012-13 season.
Now it’s not as major as it looked and sounded. Rondo has what is a partially tear –instead a full tear– will be back sooner than thought.
Rondo’s agent Bill Duffy feels as though its good news, but it may be too early get excited and discuss about.
“It’s still too early to tell for sure,” his agent told CSNNE.com. “But we are very optimistic about his return now that we know his injury is only a partial tear and not a full tear.”
There is a lot to take away from this quote and situation, but as his agent said it’s too early to tell, which means Celtics fans don’t expect a late season return for No. 9.

Old man Paul Pierce is doing what Rajon Rondo did for Boston Celtics
When Celtics All Star Rajon Rondo was lost to a season ending injury he was dominating the NBA in triple doubles, even posting one in each of his final two games. In Boston’s first contest without Rondo, Paul Pierce managed a trible double of his own. During the C’s 5 game winning streak Pierce has continually put up some very Rondo-esque numbers. His scoring is down...
For Better or For Worse?
Let’s be honest. Right now, the Celtics are looking the best they have in a long time. They have won their last six games including an embarrassment of the Los Angeles Lakers. Why is this so significant? Because the Celtics are “Rondo-less”.
Some are suggesting that the Celtics should trade Rondo, that they are fine without him. To these people, I say, “No.”. Don’t get...

Dwyane Wade-LeBron James Alley-Oop Off A Jump Ball (Video)

LeBron James gets competitive with Ray Allen
via NYTimes:
Many would think that LeBron James just can’t get any better considering his numbers are all ready ridiculous. But apparently he doesn’t feel that way. I think his recent jog with ray allen proves that.

2013 NBA Slam Dunk & Three Point Contest Participants Announced
The 2013 NBA Slam Dunk Contest participants were announced today, and I’m incredibly underwhelmed. While many fans want a Lebron James and Deandre Jordan lead dunk contest, they’ll be getting far from that. Instead, fans will be watching a 30 year old James White, reigning Slam Dunk Contest champion Jeremy Evans, early favorite Terrence Ross, [...]
