Rajon Rondo, on injury status: “I haven’t touched a ball, really”
I hated the movie The Pursuit of Happyness. Every time Will Smith’s character was poised to make a breakthrough and end his bout with homelessness, disaster struck. A thief stole one of those medical devices he sold. He got arrested for accumulating too many unpaid parking tickets. A traffic jam arose right before his most important meeting, and the man left before Smith arrived...
Sean Grande: Rajon Rondo out, Jermaine O’Neal starting vs. Cavaliers
Sean Grande (seangrandepbp) on Twitter via kwout Is it even news at this point that Rajon Rondo is out of the lineup? I guess it’s a good thing that Doc is keeping opponents on their heels by waiting until the last minute, but at this point I’m expecting Rajon Rondo out of the lineup [...]
Kobe Bryant: Top Seeds in the West ‘Unrealistic’ for the Lakers
Noting the drastic (and damaging) roster changes the Los Angeles Lakers have undergone this season, Kobe Bryant is managing expectations about what the team can accomplish prior to the Playoffs. But he continues to insist that they’ll be a dangerous foe once the postseason rolls around. From the LA Times: “Maybe the Black Mamba was playing possum, but Kobe Bryant all...
Celtics suffocating defense earns 100-64 win over Raptors
The Celtics shot 62% from the field and 63% from deep in the first half, their best shooting half of the season (which is to be expected against a poor defensive Raptors team) KG hit a nice three to end the first half, something we don’t see very often Brandon Bass was able to [...]
Will the Lakers Fire Mike Brown?
Say it isn’t so. Mike Brown has been the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers for all of 20 games. Under Brown the Lakers are a disappointing 11-9 on the season. The Lakers have shown improvements defensively, a Brown staple, as they are only allowing 91 points per game. That’s seventh best in the NBA. The problem with the Lakers is that offensively they are in the...
Still without Rondo, Celtics hold off Cavs
Paul Pierce scored 20 points, Ray Allen scored 12 in the third quarter, and the Boston Celtics avenged a disappointing loss to Cleveland three days ago by barely holding off the Cavaliers, 93-90, on Tuesday night. Laker Reserves Take Over In Win Over Bobcats
Getty Images | Harry HowKobe Bryant sitting on the bench in the fourth quarter, wearing his warm-ups, a towel over his shoulders, and a giant smile – what a vision to behold. Playing just under 28 minutes in only the first three quarters, Bryant had every reason to showcase that grin. The Lakers had a huge lead in the final minutes of the game, and no heroics were necessary to...

Andrew Bynum vs. Dwight Howard
SantosAmidst their link to each other in trade rumors since 1845, there has been discussions that Andrew Bynum may have already surpassed Dwight Howard as the best center in the game today. Shaq has stated such on TNT and ESPN’s controversial bobble-head Skip Bayless has said as much on ESPN’s First Take. Let’s delve into [...]Sports-Kings - The Kings of Sports Lists
