Phoenix, New Orleans and Minnesota are discussing a three-team deal in which the Suns would send center Robin Lopez and Hakim Warrick to the Hornets, according to Yahoo! Sports.

The move by the Timberwolves would be in effort to clear salary cap room for free agent forward Andrei Kirilenko

The Suns would receive a first-round pick, likely conditional, and swingman Wesley Johnson from the Timberwolves. Minnesota would get retiring Brad Miller, along with his expiring contract, Jerome Dyson and multiple draft picks. Those picks would likely include a second-rounder from Phoenix, according to the report.

The Hornets would likely land Warrick while sending a pair of future second-round picks to Minnesota.

Lopez is a restricted free agent, but the sides aren't believed to be close and any talks weren't helped by the three-year, $25 million deal Omer Asik signed with Houston, according to the Arizona Republic. The deal being discussed would hinge on him signing a three-year, $15 million contract.

Meanwhile, New Orleans currently has only Anthony Davis and Jason Smith as big men and are in need of a center.

Johnson was the No. 4 overall pick in 2010 and averaged 6.0 points last season.
