Fox Sports Wisconsin:
The Milwaukee Bucks and free-agent guard Gary Neal have agreed to a two-year contract, according to multiple reports.
Neal, 28, comes to Milwaukee after spending the first three years of his career with the San Antonio Spurs. Last season, Neal averaged 9.5 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists.
A 6-foot-4, 210-pound combo guard, Neal is known for his shooting ability. He made 41.9 percent of his 3-pointers in each of his first two seasons with the Spurs, but his accuracy fell to 35.5 percent last season.
Neal, 28, found his stroke in the NBA Finals, shooting 46.7 percent from beyond the arc in the seven-game series.
After starting his college career at La Salle, Neal played his final two seasons at Towson. He went undrafted after his senior year and signed a contract to play professionally in Turkey for Pinar Karsiyaka.
FC Barcelona bought Neal's contract, and he signed with the Spanish club in 2008. Neal then moved on to Pallacanestro Treviso in Italy and to Unicaja Malaga in Spain. San Antonio signed Neal to a three-year contract in the summer of 2010.
Neal will likely become Milwaukee's primary backup shooting guard behind O.J. Mayo, but he also can play point guard if needed.

Tracy McGrady was on the playoff roster of the San Antonio Spurs as they made their run to the NBA Finals but understandably he wasn’t able to contribute all that much.
McGrady’s skill set has diminished far below the electric level it once reached and he’s no longer capable of registering meaningful minutes against the game’s best players.
But McGrady can still play and...
Project Spurs' good friends Eric Messersmith and Ari Temkin over at 1250 ESPN "The Hardline" had some fun with an exclusive "interview" with San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich.
OK so it really wasn't Popovich per se but Ari chopped up some sound bites from the Spurs head coach during the regular season and mashed them up into a funny fake...

One thing we know for sure about Deshaun Thomas is he can flat out shoot the basketball. This draft workout video only solidifies any doubts people might have had about his shooting stroke.
Most NBA players can knock down shot after shot when alone in a gym, but the thing that stands out are his mechanics. In this workout you can tell he doesn’t get much lift on any...

The Atlanta Hawks have claimed Gustavo Ayon off waivers, a league source told RealGM. According to Alex Kennedy of Hoopsworld, if free agent point guard Mo Williams doesn't find a suitable contract soon, he may decide to sign a one-year deal with a contender and the San Antonio Spurs could be one of the teams interested in his services.
I heard Heat and Spurs were in mix if Mo Williams decides to go with contender. No surprise if Grizz are in mix too,...
