34-year-old Robert “Tractor” Traylor, former Michigan Wolverine and the 6th overall pick in the 1998 NBA Draft has passed away. Traylor’s death was reported by the Bayamon Cowboys, a Puerto Rican basketball team that Traylor played for. Traylor was found dead in his apartment in Isla Verde. Tonight’s Bayamon Cowboys game  was suspended. The McDonald’s High School All-American played  alongside Kevin Garnett, Vince Carter and Paul Pierce, and led Michigan to a 1997 NIT title. In 1998, he was drafted by the Mavericks, but then traded to Milwaukee for Pat Garrity and German prospect Dirk Nowitzki. Traylor never lived up to his first round pedigree and began playing overseas in 2006. A cause of death has not been confirmed. Traylor battled weight issues throughout his career (ballooning up to 300 lbs), and reportedly had a heart condition.
