SALT LAKE CITY -- Somebody forgot to tell the Houston Rockets that the Utah Jazz are one of the best home teams in the NBA. James Harden scored 25 points, Omer Asik grabbed 19 rebounds and the visiting Rockets annihilated the Jazz 125-80 on Monday night at EnergySolutions Arena. The 45-point loss was the worst home defeat in Jazz franchise history and the fifth-largest loss margin in 39 seasons. Only a late Kevin Murphy 3-pointer prevented it from being the Jazz's worst-ever Utah-era loss since moving from New Orleans in 1979. "It was like everything went wrong," Jazz center Al Jefferson said. "Everything went wrong." For Utah, at least. About everything went perfectly right for the Rockets. Houston took a 57-39 lead into halftime, and the Rockets were only getting warmed up. After holding the Jazz to 17 points in the second quarter, the visitors outscored the hospitable hosts 36-20 in the third quarter and 32-21 in the fourth quarter. Houston s...

The Utah Jazz (24-20) look to get their seventh straight home victory tonight as they host the Houston Rockets (24-22) in a game that could play a big role in playoff seeding later on. Royce White has been extremely public in his battle with the Rockets to come up with a plan to handle his anxiety disorder. White has an overwhelming fear of flying, so much so that he had requested his team work with him to develop a plan that would manage his disorder while still allowing him to play. Houston seemed willing to do that.
Yet, here we are halfway through what would...
The Houston Rockets blow out the Utah Jazz by 45 points but all anyone was talking about after the game was the dunk by the Rockets James Harden. Just before halftime Harden beat his man off the dribble and went to the rim and dunked over Alec Burks. Harden finished the game with 25 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Its well known that since being traded to the Rockets, Harden’s star has risen. In this latest ad from footlocker he questioned the shoe game of a member of his entourage and threatens to trade him to Kris Humphries. A very hilarious commercial in which two rising stars show a little personality

When you think Utah Jazz, slow and plodding and pick and roll come to mind. While some of these perceptions of who the Jazz are may no longer be true -- they actually run the fewest pick and rolls in the league according to some estimations -- the Jazz are still built around one, sometimes seemingly outdated truth:
