I don’t know what is more surprising: the Celtics losing to the Detroit Pistons 96-81 or Rondo showing enough emotion that he would have the balls to throw a ball at a ref. I mean you gotta know the NBA is more protective of their refs than a dad is of his hot 17 year old girl going to get a football signed by Mark Sanchez. The NBA came down with their ruling, and decided to suspend Rondo for 2 games. I honestly thought it would have been more. But remember the referee is not white. WAIT…AM I ALLOWED TO SAY THAT? Tweet

Pistons beat Celtics for 7th win in 9 games

AUBURN HILLS -- The Pistons were in the running for the NBA's worst team two weeks ago. That's no longer the case -- for now. Rondo ejected, Pistons win easily, 96-81

Are the Pistons the new kryptonite for the Celtics? It sure feels that way with Boston dropping their second game in one week to the Detroit Pistons with the score 96-81. Video: Rajon Rondo ejected against Pistons for throwing ball at referee

I don’t know if Rajon Rondo’s ejection meant anything more than, “Damn it, my team’s losing to the Detroit Pistons for the second time in a week, Detroit has taken 1,494 free throws compared to our six, and yes, I’m a little perturbed by this entire debacle.” Many good people have lost their cool during a basketball game; I got ejected from a men...

They’re outsiders lately

DALLAS - Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey went to the free throw line Sunday night 15 times and scored 12 of his 16 points there. The Celtics attempted 15 free throws, and perhaps that was the source of some of Rajon Rondo’s frustration as he was ejected in the third quarter.
