Not so fast with the rumors of Rudy Gay to Phoenix. The Toronto Raptors want in the hunt for the Memphis Grizzlies' star small forward, ESPN's Marc Stein reports.
Gay looks destined to be wearing a new uniform by the February 21 trade deadline. Stein reports that the Raptors are offering Jose Calderon and his expiring contract and Ed Davis.
From a fantasy perspective, the fantasy values of Calderon and Davis would drop significantly if they were headed to Memphis. Gay's value will be fine wherever he ends up.
Stein cautions that the Grizzlies -- with a 22-10 record -- could elect to hold onto Gay and make a run at the Western Conference Finals.
But Gay's name has popped up in several trade scenarios involving the Suns, Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors.
In other Grizz trade news, Chris Vernon reports that Zach Randolph is not being shopped by the team.
