San Antonio Spurs: Are the Aging Spurs Getting too Much Rest? By Mike Elworth: Publisher and Owner of Hoopstuff The San Antonio Spurs are now on their third day of rest, after sweeping the ailing Lakers and are waiting for the Nuggets and Warriors to finish their series. Baynes' Game 4 success a testament to Pop's system

When the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Los Angeles Lakers, it shouldn't have been a surprise if you saw Aron Baynes start in place of injured center Tiago Splitter.
