The Spurs have reportedly signed Diogu to a one-year deal. The Express-News has the details: “Several published reports indicate the contract is for one year. Diogu, a 6-foot-9, 250-pound power forward most recently played with the Los Angeles Clippers last season. The former Arizona State product appeared in 36 games averaging 5.8 points and 3.2 rebounds in 13.1 minutes while shooting 56.1 percent from the field. After earning second-team All-America honors with the Sun Devils in 2005, Diogu was the ninth overall pick in the 2005 NBA Draft by Golden State. Among the players he was selected before include Andrew Bynum, Danny Granger and Jarrett Jack. During his career he’s also played with the Indiana Pacers (2006-08), Portland Trail Blazers (2008-09) and Sacramento Kings (2008-09).
