Sarah Palin actually lasted longer as a Fox News talking head than she did as Governor of Alaska. Just an hour ago, it was announced that FNC will not be renewing the “hockey mom’s” contract. “You can actually see parts of unemployment from my house.” I guess she went a little too “rogue” for the most watched cable news network/public relations unit of the Republican party. Somewhere Manti Te’o is on phone with Sarah Palin talking about the Katie Couric interview: “You were right about her. I never should have done that.” From Real Clear Politics: “It’s my understanding that Gov. Palin was offered a contract by FOX, and she decided not to renew the arrangement,” the source close to Palin told RCP. “She remains focused on broadening her message of common-sense conservatism across the country and will be expanding her voice in the national discussion.” The source declined to say whether Palin would pursue a television contract with another news network, such as CNN. Common sense conservatism? From the geographically challenged woman who’s 15 minutes of fame came as a failed Hail Mary attempt by the John McCain campaign? The same woman who allegedly had a one night stand with former NBA star Glen Rice when he was a member of the Michigan Wolverines playing in a college basketball tournament in Alaska? Yep, sounds like CNN material for me. It’s a shame her marriage with Faux Noise Channel is over; it seemed like a perfect fit for someone who reads “all of them” newspapers and magazines. Where will Palin spew her incoherent ramblings that not once ever come close to resembling a coherent thought? Well she still has her Facebook and Twitter pages. Paul M.
