Jameer Nelson scored a team high 27 points, Dwight Howard recorded a double-double, and a strong second half by the Orlando Magic, led to a 106-103 victory over the visiting Los Angeles Lakers Saturday night. Orlando trailed the team from the left coast by 9 points at the half, but the Magic came back to the hardwood in the third quarter revitalized and took control of the contest. Kobe Bryant led all scorers with 41 points, but the rest of his teammates did not give him enough help to get by the Magic.
