Miami Heat (5-1) vs. Memphis Grizzlies (4-1)
When the Miami Heat first came together, one of the memorable moments of their failure -- or at least not the immediate success they seemed to claim was possible -- was Rudy Gay sinking the Heat with a baseline jumper at Memphis. Two years later, things are very different for Miami. The Heat are a championship team and seemed locked in for another.
The Grizzlies are a great team with solid point guard play from Mike Conley and great post play from Zach Randolph along with Rudy Gay's all around play. This is a matchup of two great teams -- two of the best in the NBA. That is reason enough to watch.
The other reason would be the Heat's resplendent offensive display so far this season. Miami is averaging 107.5 points per game, posting a 115.5 offensive rating and a league-best 57.5 percent effective field goal percentage. The Heat are an offensive juggernaut. We knew that because of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and ...

Mario Chalmers has now joined the long list of NBA players who have released rap songs. Not sure if this one tops anything Kevin Durant has done, but this short track of some bars is pretty good by the Miami Heat point guard. Take a listen in the video above.

LeBron James, please participate in this year’s NBA slam dunk contest — sincerely, every NBA fan.
James threw down a monster alley-oop in Memphis off a dish from point guard Mario Chalmers. James may be competing with Gerald Green for best hops in the NBA.
James finished the game with a double-double, scoring twenty points with 10 rebounds and six assists. The Heat lost 104-86...
The Miami Heat will wear (pictured) the holiday-themed uniform on Christmas Day
The Miami Heat didn't have much trouble with James Harden in last season's NBA Finals.
This time, they should expect him to be much more involved in a different uniform.
Facing Harden for the first time since winning the NBA title, the Heat will try to minimize his impact again and make it six straight wins against the Houston Rockets on Monday night (8 p.m. ET, Sun Sports...
No matter how you feel about LeBron, one thing can’t be denied, the man has crazy hops. Last night against the Memphis Grizzlies he started the fast break and received a pass from Mario Chalmers that saw LeBron go up, step on Tony Allen’s shoulders and even blow a kiss [...]
HOUSTON -- Even with a collection of ballyhooed offensive stars, the Miami Heat earned the 2011-12 NBA title by mustering exceptional defensive intensity during the regular season and ratcheting it up in the playoffs. So far this season, however, the Heat's defense hardly could be considered passable. Miami is ranked second in offensive efficiency for a reason, though, and...
Can you feel that? I watched this video on silent and still had chills down my spine. Usually Lebron is on the other end of these top plays but last night was not the Heat's night. Memphis ran away with the game and this play was symbolic on how the game went for Miami.

LeBron James scored a season-high 38 points, Chris Bosh had 24
points and 10 rebounds, and the Miami Heat rallied to beat the
Houston Rockets 113-110 on Monday night.
Faried is fast becoming a well known commodity around the NBA.
With their two biggest stars ailing, the Miami Heat might not be at full strength in a matchup between two of the league's hottest teams.
That could make things difficult for the defending champs on Sunday night when they visit a Memphis Grizzlies team looking for a fifth straight victory.
The Heat (5-1), who have also won four in a row, might have to play again without star...
