After a lackluster 2012 NBA Dunk Contest, the event really needs some reviving. In my opinion, they should go in the direction of less gimmicks and more sheer athletic dunks.
Jeff Green has compiled quite a resume of dunks during the 2012-2013 season, including what many felt was the dunk of the year over Al Jefferson, and a nice dunk over Chris Bosh on Sunday.
The NBA has yet to announce this year's contestants, but Green might be able to make a case for getting into the dunk contest. Plus everyone would love a comeback story if he could win it in his first season back in the NBA after heart surgery.

Despite being an unofficial member of the "Big Three", Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh often finds himself being overshadowed by LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. After all, both James and Wade are virtual locks for the Hall of Fame one day, and so is Bosh, if you ask him.In celebration of their NBA title last year, members of the Heat were invited to the White House for a tour...

After all, The Hoops Manifesto's esteemed voting panel unanimously voted Bosh out of the Hall back in the summer of 2011, and we are never wrong about anything ever. Except for this case - we could be wrong here - Chris Bosh...

Chris Bosh didn’t just say he was a lock Hall of Famers, he said he was lock even before he relocated to South Beach and got a ring.
I think Bosh is a very underrated player, but these comments seem a little far fetched right now. Here is what he told Chris Tomasson of FOX Sports Florida about his Hall of Fame chances.
“Hell, yeah, of course. I’ve been a Hall of Famer...
Jeff Green took his startling drive to the basket, and wasn’t going to be denied. Chris Bosh was the only Heat player that tried standing up for the flying swingman, but was humiliated with the “Statue of Liberty” throwdown.

LeBron James took responsibility to look for Chris Bosh more often on offense, as will the rest of the team.

The Celtics got some bad news yesterday when guard Rajon Rondo was diagnosed with a torn ACL and will be out for the the rest of the season.
