With a 12:00 start on Sunday, the Sixers registered their first loss of the season to the New York Knicks.  The Sixers, after haven't played a game since the home opener on Wednesday night, lost 100-84.  During the game, just two minutes into the game, shooting guard Jason Richardson left with a sprained ankle after stepping on a cameraman's foot. Richardson has been ruled out for Monday night's rematch at the Wells Fargo Center.  Doug Collins and the Sixers organization believe the injury will only keep the sharpshooter out for a few games. The Sixers seemed to have a lack of energy on Sunday afternoon, as they certainly didn't look as lively as the opener.  The team also weren't as sharp shooting the ball. Among the highlights of the Sixers first loss, Jrue Holiday had his first breakout game of the season.  The newly extended Holiday, led the Sixers offense with 27 points and 7 assists.  Philadelphia just couldn't find an answer for the Knicks, Carmelo Anthony. Melo led New York with 27 points, and 5 total rebounds. What's Next?- The Sixers look to fix all of their mistakes on Monday night as the play the second half of a home and home series versus the New York Knicks.  Tip-off is set for 7:00pm on Comcast Sportsnet and can ber heard on 97.5 the fanatic
