Golden State Warriors guard Jarrett Jack refused to focus on a contract extension during the season and instead wanted to focus on the team's success. The good news for the Warriors is that he's been playing extremely well during that stretch, but that may be a curse for them too. Now with Jack becoming a free agent during the offseason, he's likely to demand a larger contract than the extension the Warriors had in mind. To the Warriors' disadvantage, he's also been receiving interest from other teams in the league, including the San Antonio Spurs. Jack, who drew interest from multiple teams during the trade deadline, is in the last year of his contract paying him $5 million this season.  Multiple teams are looking for point guards — including Utah, Charlotte, Toronto and possibly Milwaukee (since Brandon Jennings is a restricted free agent). Plus, Jack has proven to be a difference-maker off the bench, which has intrigued multiple teams that already have a point guard, such as the Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs. (ContraCostaTimes.com) The Spurs will have Nando De Colo and Cory Joseph under contract, both who can play multiple positions on both ends of the floor. Gary Neal and Patty Mills will be free agents and that might leave an opening for San Antonio to use Jarrett Jack. Manu Ginobili will also be a free agent this summer and while he says he would like to play two more years, it hasn't been set in stone that he'll be returning to the team next season. Jack would be a great reliable option off the bench for the Spurs and could be paired up with any of the wing players the team will have. He's been averaging 18.8ppg and 7apg this offseason and his performance in the second round may determine whether or not the Spurs are truly interested in making a move for him. What do you think Spurs fans? Would Jarrett Jack be a good pick up for the team this offseason?
