Project Spurs continues its 2013 Spurs Playoff preview as the Spurs face the Lakers in the first round. Check out some of the key 2012-13 regular season numbers between San Antonio and Los Angeles. The San Antonio Spurs (0-0) and Los Angeles Lakers (0-0) will get their first round playoff series going tomorrow in San Antonio in a battle of old familiar foes.  The Spurs and Lakers have had an intense rivalry which has given fans some of the best games to remember. However, heading into their opening round series, the rivalry has cooled since the days of Shaquille O'Neal, Phil Jackson, younger Kobe Bryant and Derek Fisher squaring off with Spurs' Tim Duncan, David Robinson, Bruce Bowen and Gregg Popovich for the Western Conference crown. Let's take a looks at some noteworthy numbers between the Spurs and Lakers from this past 2012-13 regular season which might be a factor during their playoff series. Let's go streaking • The Spurs enter the playoffs on a 3-game losing streak • The Lakers enter the playoffs on a 5-game winning streak 92.6 • The Spurs and Lakers average 92.6 points against each other during their three meetings in the regular season Offensive output separated by one point • The Spurs averaged 103 points per game in the regular season while the Lakers averaged 102 5 blocks • The Spurs and Lakers averaged a bit over five blocks on the season. Spurs with 5.4 blocks while the Lakers with 5.3 blocks 6 & 12 • The Spurs lost just six home games during the regular season while the Lakers dropped 12 at Staples Steve Blake to step it up? • In one game vs. the Spurs this past regular season, Blake scored 23 points in 36 minutes 5 for 5 in double figures Against each other, the Spurs and Lakers have five players who average double digit scoring (excluding Lakers' Kobe Bryant) • Duncan (16.3), Tony Parker (15.7), Tiago Splitter (11.3), Manu Ginobili (11), and Danny Green (11) • Blake (23), Dwight Howard (19.5), Metta World Peace (14.3), Steve Nash (14), and Earl Clark (12) Kobe will be missed for L.A. • In two games vs. the Spurs this season, Bryant averaged 27.5 points, 4 rebounds, 6.5 assists, .5 steals, shot 51% from the field, 41% from the three-point line, and 67% from the free-throw line in 38.5 minutes per game.
