It shouldn't matter for the San Antonio Spurs.  They seem to win no matter what adversity is thrown their way.  But still, the team would rather have Manu Ginobili than not.  However, he could be out for weeks according to his coach.Dan McCarney of the San Antonio Express-News says that Ginobili has been ruled out indefinitely, and coach Gregg Popovich says it will be weeks rather than days before Ginobili takes the court again. Popovich would not even rule out the possibility that Ginobili's injury would carry into the postseason.  If it does, that would be a huge blow to the Spurs.“It’s a huge loss for that group, and in game situations it’s a tough one because he’s one of two guys, he and Tony (Parker), are the creators who make things happen for everybody else on the court. It’s an unfortunate loss at this point of the season.”Ginobili has been playing at a high level the whole season.  This season, he has averaged 11.9 points and 4.6 assists per game.  The points may be down compared with his career numbers, but the assists are up.  The Spurs are so balanced, they don't need Ginobili's normal scoring ability to be in play.  They do need him to find others to score.Ginobili was injured on Friday.  He has not played since, and now the team has ruled him out for the foreseeable future.  The Spurs will have to rely on their other stars stepping up if they are to continue their hold on the number one slot in the Western Conference.Follow @hoopsinjurynews!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://www.nbainjurynews.com//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");
