Not often are you going to see an NBA player in a commercial, eating baby carrots, while his name is rapped in a video promoting a new healthy snack.  Seems like the ShakeDowns marketing group does a great job thinking outside of the box to get you to remember their commercials.  Hopefully they didn’t pay the Spurs’ Matt Bonner too much for this since he didn’t do anything. Spurs big man Matt Bonner eats baby carrots like a boss (Video)

San Antonio Spurs forward/center Matt Bonner doesn't get many as opportunities to be in a television commercial as other NBA players. That means when an offer comes Bonner's way, he's probably not going to pass on the chance to make some extra cash, even if he makes himself look a bit silly in the process. Case in point: Bonner has the starring role in a rap video...

Video: Bonner's latest carrot commercials are glorious

Matt Bonner of the San Antonio Spurs is at it again with his newest commercial for ShakeDowns baby carrots.   Without saying a single word, Bonner’s presence alone steals the show in the ad for this Bolthouse Farms product.   Bonner seems to embrace being in front of the camera once again and shows that his quirkiness is indeed marketable. Maybe some local companies...

Watch Bonner try to sell you baby carrots using some thuggin’ beats and a crew that includes a black belt-wearing Jason Mraz...

Spurs Bonner becomes new face of baby carrots

One of the perks to being a major athlete is the endorsement deals. It has been well documented how much athletes can rack up by lending their name to a product. But when it comes to athletes-product partnerships, there are big names (Nike, Adidas, Reebok, etc.) and then there is baby carrots. A San Antonio Spurs' fan favorite promotes the latter. Matt Bonner now endorses...
