With Manu Ginobili's injury last night, the San Antonio Spurs have announced they've recalled Cory Joseph from the Austin Toros: The Spurs have recalled Cory Joseph from the @austintoros http://www.nba.com/spurs/news/130114_joseph … (@spurs) This is an expected move from the Spurs, who have sent players to Austin and recalled them depending on the roster situations. With Ginobili being part of the team's core and an important piece to their championship hopes, Joseph will serve as a great backup in the backcourt if the Spurs need someone to take some of the minutes, especially during a game that's already decided. The Spurs' depth in San Antonio and Austin is a luxury for the team and will give Manu as much time as he needs to fully heal.
