Brian Shaw took the job with Denver and according to reports, the 76ers only received permission to speak with Brown. Needless to say the Spurs needed to fill their coaching ranks. There were reports of former Spur Fabricio Oberto being offered an assistant coaching spot but recent reports have him not returning to San Antonio.
