Every morning, we'll give you five things from the night before in the NBA to start your day.
1: Buck off, Milwaukee
Oh come on... you know you want to use that headline.
The Milwaukee Bucks were eliminated last night, courtesy of the Philadelphia 76'ers win over the New Jersey Nets. The Sixers and New York Knicks are now tied for the 7th & 8th seed with each having two games left. When it's all over, one of them will have won the privilege to get destroyed by the Miami Heat, while the other will have to settle for getting crushed by Chicago.
The Bucks are now off to the lottery, waiting for one more team to join the party (either Utah or Phoenix). It'll be interesting to see how the offseason treats them. Brandon Jennings has had a few words that make the Bucks a team to watch. Makes you wonder if Monta Ellis was brought in to be his backcourt partner... or his replacement.
2: Spurs lock up the top seed
Admit it... you didn't see this coming.
