Eddy Curry was once a highly touted big man with even bigger expectations in the NBA, but sadly he never realized his potential. Despite Curry earning over $70 million in his NBA career, he lost this Chicago suburbs mansion to foreclosure in March 2012 has been listed on the market for $3.999 million. Curry purchased the Burr Ridge, Ill. abode in 2006 for $6.2 million. It’s the same home where Curry and his family were intruders invaded the house, held at gunpoint, bound and ransacked in 2007. Realtor details the luxurious mansion: The expansive manse offers seven bedrooms, nine fireplaces, 11 bathrooms and 9,340 square feet of living space. Handcrafted details such as millwork, built-ins and stately touches exude an air of “old world elegance,” and high-end amenities include an elevator, a two-story foyer with a fireplace, a cherry-paneled library, and a family room with a wet bar. The master suite sits in its own dedicated wing and a completed lower level comes complete with a kitchen, a pub-style bar, a movie theater and a massive wine cellar. Let’s see what Curry sadly lost because of his disappointing misappropriation of funds. Article found on: Next Impulse Sports
