The Los Angeles Lakers struggles in the back-court have been well documented this season, and in seasons past, and they are getting so desperate that they have recently contacted the Houston Rockets about a possible trade for third-string point guard Johnny Flynn. The Lakers are also reportedly interested in attending Gilbert Arenas’ workout in Los Angeles later this week to see if he can be their answer to the back-court problems they have faced. The Lakers need not only a play-maker to come off the bench but someone who can create his own shot and be consistent from long-range. Well the Lakers have a player that, although he may not be a great point guard, can come off the bench and hit a few threes once in a while and offer a spark for the Lakers.
