More Than Stats:
This past Thursday NBA superstar Dwyane Wade held his 2nd annual A Night On The Runwade fashion show fundraiser, and launch party for his neckwear collaboration with the Tiebar. Starting off with a bang! Wade made an entertaining entrance dropping down onto the runway from above, harnessed in a hoop. Very Cirque du Soleil-ish.
The event featured a generous crowd of donors and a cast of models who strutted in some of the latest styles from Neiman Marcus. All proceeds from the show went to the Wade World Foundation.
For his big event Wade dressed in two separate ensembles. Wade started off with a formal look which featured an awesome double-breasted paisley patterned blazer jacket.
Wade finished-up the evening in sharp black tuxedo he added a pop of color to with a sleek pair of $335 metallic gold Del Toro wingtips. Gold shoes are out of the norm, which makes this look so unique, and the patterned blazer jacket put a cool twist on a traditional black tuxedo. This was my favorite.

James Harden was caught in the middle of a social media feud between Kevin Durant and Dwyane Wade earlier this week that began when Durant said Harden should replace Wade in Sports Illustrated’s Top 10 list of players heading into the 2013-14 season.
KD’s comments didn’t sit well with D Wade, who responded with a hand-written message on Instagram that read, “Kevin Durant...
Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade already offered his response on Twitter.
And he wanted to leave it at that regarding his recent rift with Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant. Wade hosted “A Night on the RunWade” Thursday at The Moore Building in downtown Miami but wanted to keep the focus on fashion instead of Durant’s recent comments. The event raised money for Wade's World Foundation...
Last night, Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade held his 2nd annual “Night On The RunWade” (nice pun, D-Wade) event and his entrance to it might have been more impressive than the fashion. Many suspected the beef between Kevin Durant and Dwyane Wade that was manifested over social media this week was just a promotion for Gatorade. After all, the two were featured in a commercial for the sports beverage last year. Now there seems to be definitive proof that this issue had nothing to do with Gatorade. […]
Kevin Durant has been in the news this week for speaking his mind about Dwyane Wade and James Harden. Durant said Harden should replace Wade in the top-10.
That comment didn’t go well with Wade and the media turned it into a beef between the two. Some speculated this was a promotional tool for Gatorade but now we’re finding out Durant is leaving the brand.
(Eds: Updates with details.) By TIM REYNOLDS AP Basketball Writer Dwyane Wade sat forward in his chair, listening intently to the report about how quickly the first small batch of his Li-Ning basketball sneakers that were available in the United States were gobbled up by consumers.
On average, a pair was gone every 8 seconds.
Wade leaned back, obviously thrilled at the news.
Earlier this week, Dwyane Wade and Kevin Durant were back in the headlines for a little dispute they had on Twitter. But in reality, the whole “fight” got blown way out of proportion, and may be the most overrated twitter fight of all time.
This whole “fight” started earlier this week when Kevin Durant said in an interview that James Harden should replace Wade in the NBA’s...
Despite what most levelheaded people suspect, Dwyane Wade insists that the flareup between himself and Kevin Durant that ignited on social media this week is the Real Deal Holyfield. After Kevin Durant and Dwyane Wade sparred on Twitter about whether or not Wade is a top 10 player, there was speculation that the whole thing was a promotional stunt. Mainly because the two are paired against one another in those Gatorade ads.
But when Wade was asked recently about the Twitter sparring, he told the Miami Herald that it was indeed real. And the two both believe what...
According to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, Kevin Durant’s contract with Gatorade will expire next week and will not be renewed. The ESPN sports business reporter says the social media feud that took place earlier this week between Gatorade endorsers, Dwyane Wade and Kevin Durant, has nothing to do with Durant leaving Gatorade.
Dwyane Wade commented on the situation, saying he had nothing...
Previously on TNLP, we featured a post about a social networking beef between Kevin Durant and Dwyane Wade and it appears that Wade’s teammate, Udonis Haslem has weighed in on the matter.
Check out this Instagram photo that Haslem posted to his account which shows Wade being better than James Harden at least in terms of championships won:

The man that has been caught in the middle of the Dwyane Wade and Kevin Durant’s Twitter scuffle has spoken out. James Harden thinks his former teammate Kevin Durant is the more correct one.
“For sure,” Harden said, when asked by CSN Houston if he feels he’s a top-10 NBA player. “For sure. Last year I got a chance to prove it, I kind of broke out of the shell a little...
Dwight Howard decided to add his two cent to the Twitter/Instagram spat between Kevin Durant and Dwyane Wade. Wade for his part says it isn’t a gimmick, he was really irked that KD thinks James Harden is better than him.
Harden of course doesn’t care, but Dwight gave him some advice anyway.
Harden told Comcast SportsNet in Houston today that he believes the Wade/Durant exchange...
