Shannon Brown’s name doesn’t ring bells like it did when he was running next to Kobe Bryant, back when his breakaway dunks made him something of a national sensation, at least until he left his faction sorely disappointed with an uninspired performance in the 2010 Slam Dunk Contest. His recognition has never really recovered from the letdown, but that isn’t to say Shannon...

Tweet When the Charlotte Bobcats selected Michael Kidd-Gilchrist out of Kentucky with the second overall pick in this year’s NBA draft there were more than a few who questioned how much he could add on offense to a team in need of scorers. An area that wasn’t in doubt was his ability to [...]
In Phoenix, everything has changed. Well, not the terrain. Its still always hot there, and they still grow cactuses.
As for the basketball team, man, what a fresh start.
The Suns now play an everyday style, methodically working the ball for the best open shot. They defend and scrap and possess very little pizzazz.
Not that the Steve Nash teams were a bunch of running...

Welcome back, fantasy basketball owners. It’s been too long and I couldn’t be happier that the NBA is back.
The gift and curse of fantasy basketball is that not nearly as many people play it as baseball and football. This is great for my twitter timeline since I don’t have to scroll through thousands of waiver wire articles and people incessantly tweeting about their line up...
